Focus on voice quality
An VoWLAN Server – 802.11b/g – is required in the system in order to ensure excellent voice quality : it is standards-compatible, simple to implement, and reduces packet queuing delays for voice traffic.
Amongst it’s primary functions are: management of Mobile IP Touch battery life as well as the number of simultaneous calls allowed per Access Point in order to spread traffic effectively across the WLAN.
The VoWLAN Server comes in 3 versions depending on the number of on site mobile IP Touch WiFi handset:
- VoWLAN server 10 supports maximum 10 IP Touch WiFi handsets
- VoWLAN server 20 supports maximum 20 IP Touch WiFi handsets
- VoWLAN server 100 supports maximum 120 IP Touch WiFi handsets with a maximum of 80 simultaneous communications
